Internews and Sida Launch Multimedia Training at ALICOR's NIDC in Liberia

Internews, in collaboration with the Swedish International Development Agency (Sida), has commenced multimedia skills training at the National Information Dissemination Center (NIDC), operated by the Association of Liberia Community Radio (ALICOR).

Led by Internews Multimedia Content Producer Joseph F. Doe, the hands-on training focuses on video editing and production for ten participants, including two females. The objective is to transform NIDC into a comprehensive multimedia content production center, enhancing Liberia's media landscape.

ALICOR Secretariat's Coordinator, Varney Diggs Sr., emphasized the program's significance, stating, "The training opportunity not only builds NIDC staff skills but also establishes systems for long-term sustainability."

This collaboration reflects a commitment to Liberia's media development, fostering international partnerships for the growth and resilience of local media organizations.
